Attorney General JB Van Hollen is at it again, as he continues to take on political issues at the expense of taxpayers. Channel 3000 reported Wednesday on Van Hollen’s criticism of the Wisconsin Voter Protection Act, which would protect voter rights and make it easier for the people of Wisconsin to cast their ballots.
Daniel Bice of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on the challenges facing Tommy Thompson’s potential entrance in the Senate race (Tommyannounced he wouldn’t enter the race yesterday). The main challenges, Bice wrote, “Thompson is tied to several businesses that have benefited from the stimulus plan”
Democrats stood firm this week on meaningful Wall Street reform, despite a last ditch lobbying effort by many of the country’s largest firms. TheAssociated Press has the details.
CNN reported Wednesday that as many as 2.8 million jobs have been created or saved as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Experts say that number could increase to at least 3.5 million by the end of 2010.
