Be the one to make history
By Maggie Brickerman
You started our grassroots campaign to save our state from Scott Walker, who attacked not just the rights of Wisconsin workers, but also our shared values and proud Wisconsin institutions.
In just 12 days, you could represent your county by being the one who delivers the petitions to recall Scott Walker from your community. Click here to be the one:
From Douglas to Rock to St. Croix to Milwaukee Counties, and all points in between, the people of Wisconsin are rising up. They're standing in the cold for hours every day to collect signatures from their friends and neighbors because they've lost their jobs, their incomes have been cut, they cannot find work, their children’s schools have fewer teachers and their community is cutting services on which they rely. Wisconsin simply can't afford Scott Walker as governor any longer.
Would you like to represent the thousands of grassroots volunteers that have worked tirelessly in your county by joining us in Madison on January 17th to give Scott Walker a special delivery?
Your strength and determination in the last 51 days has put us on track to reach our goal of more than 720,000 signatures to recall Scott Walker. While leading us toward our goal, you've stood in the freezing cold, you've endured dozens of dirty tricks and intimidating threats from Scott Walker's cronies, and you've overcome millions of dollars from sleazy out-of-state special interests that are desperately trying to prop up Scott Walker's radical agenda.
You've never given up, you've never stopped believing in the promise of Wisconsin and you've never stopped believing in the power of our people-powered movement. Your actions have given hope to working, middle-class families all around America who are hungry to take their government back from extreme, right-wing politicians like Scott Walker who only listen to the concerns of billionaire campaign donors like the Koch brothers.
Show Scott Walker that your county is holding him accountable for the year of division, corruption and jobs failures Wisconsin has endured under his first and last full year in office.
Be the one.
See you in Madison on January 17th.
