Wisconsin Activists Run to be Delegate to Democratic National Convention
After record Democratic primary turnout and packed county caucuses last month, Wisconsin delegate selection is in full swing for the Democratic National Convention. This Sunday, Democrats will hold caucuses in each Congressional District (CD). Delegates voted on from the caucuses this Sunday will attend the National Convention in Denver as CD Level Delegates. Wisconsin will send a total of 92 delegates, forty eight of which will be selected on Sunday.
Registration for all caucuses will open at 12:00pm and close at 2:00pm, when the caucuses will begin. Caucus locations are as follows:
1st CD: Kenosha County Center,

3rd CD: UW-La Crosse

4th CD: International Laborers Office

6th CD: Kiel High School Cafeteria

7th CD: 29 Pines

8th CD: UW-Green Bay, Wood Hall

Delegates to the CD caucuses this Sunday were voted on from their county caucus last month. Over 1600 activists participated in caucuses held in every county of the state.
In February we had incredible turnout in our Democratic primary, and last month, over 1600 activists took part in the county caucuses,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chairman Joe Wineke said. “Wisconsin Democrats are more engaged than ever as they run for the opportunity to represent Wisconsin and our Democratic candidates at the National Convention.”
Another 28 pledged delegate positions will be selected by the State Party’s Administrative Committee at their meeting at the state convention on June 13.
