The Opportunity: As the Digital Associate for the Senate Readiness Project, you’ll work with the Senior Senate Advisor and other members of the team to develop the digital program supporting our efforts to elect a Democratic Senator in Wisconsin in 2022. Digital departments are an integral part of any campaign and your work will support our Senate nominee and candidates up and down the ballot. The digital associate will be an important member of our team and will work with the nominee’s digital team on building digital
fundraising, social media, and digital organizing programs. Your work will lay the foundation for the election of a Democrat into the U.S. Senate in 2022.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the digital team in developing digital fundraising content including helping to draft materials such as emails, scripts, and additional materials as needed;
  • Assist in the creation of other digital content such as social posts, graphics, video content, and additional materials as needed;
  • Help staff events and capture digital assets as needed including photographs and video content
  • Provide additional digital capacity as needed

Qualifications (Required):

  • Strong writing skills and basic graphic design skills and/or video editing skills
  • Self-starter with a robust work ethic and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Growth Mindset – Ability to take and implement feedback.
  • Relentlessly Goal Oriented – Enjoys working toward and achieving ambitious goals. Keeps calm in stressful situations. Has the capacity and willingness to work long hours during peak season, rolling up their sleeves and getting the work done.

  • Manages a high volume of work with efficiency- Has, or can create, a system for managing multiple projects at the same time without sacrificing quality.

  • Effective Team Player – Track record of collaborating with colleagues to produce quality digital materials.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Prior digital or campaign experience (as a volunteer, intern, or staff) strongly preferred
  • Ability to use and understand basic HTML is a bonus
  • Prior experience with ActBlue, NGP, and equivalent databases preferred
