“Pain” And “Risk” For Wisconsin Farmers
Nicholson calls Trump tariffs “risk” and necessary pain for Wisconsin’s agricultural community
Via WIZM Radio:
Nicholson, faces state Senator Leah Vukmir in a primary race for the chance to take on Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin in the November election, defends President Donald Trump’s tariff brinkmanship strategy.
And, it’s those trade deals, Nicholson said, that are worth some short term economic pain.
“There’s serious problems there,” he said. “And it’s a problem that has to be reconciled. And, let’s be honest, we’ve made so many mistakes to get to this point that it’s going to involve some amount of risk to undo it.”
“Kevin Nicholson is literally embracing economic ‘risk’ and pain for Wisconsin farmers,” said Brad Bainum, DPW spokesperson for the 2018 Senate race. “I know he’s a fancy management consultant for corporate special interest hedge funds and private equity firms, but how out of touch can you be?”
