Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Martha Laning released the following statement in light of Hillary Clinton’s victory at tonight’s debate:
“Once again, voters saw there is only one person in this race who has the experience, judgement, and temperament to be our next Commander in Chief – and that is Hillary Clinton. During tonight’s debate, she offered detailed policy solutions to the biggest problems facing our country like increasing access to health care, making a fair tax system, and building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Hillary Clinton’s experience as a lawyer for the Children’s Defense Fund, First Lady, US Senator, and Secretary of State makes her, as President Barack Obama said, the most qualified person to ever run for president.
“We heard nothing from Donald Trump other than the lies and insults that have been the backbone of his campaign. Donald Trump is uniquely unqualified to be President of the United States. He has insulted minorities, discriminated against people based on religion, and has gloated about sexually assaulting women. He can never be allowed near the White House.
“We must do everything we can to ensure we elect Hillary Clinton as our next President of the United States.”
