ICYMI: Obama Endorses Two Wisconsin Assembly Candidates

Art Shrader and Jeff Wright, Assembly candidates for the 50th and 51st districts, respectively, were endorsed by Barack Obama, because he knows they will build on our country’s progress over the past eight years. 

Republican leadership in Wisconsin has failed, and Barack Obama knows we need to elect Democrats at the local level if we are going to move states like Wisconsin forward. Art Shrader and Jeff Wright will finally bring the representation and common sense solutions the people of the 50th and 51st district deserve.

Wisconsin’s job growth has lagged behind the national average due to failed Republican policies. With Art and Jeff in the state Assembly, Wisconsinites in the 50th and 51st district will finally get the representation they deserve.

Barack Obama is taking the rare step of endorsing Democratic candidates for state legislatures, including two Wisconsin Assembly candidates.

Obama endorsed Democrat Jeff Wright, of Plain, in his race against Republican Assemblyman Todd Novak, of Dodgeville. Obama also endorsed Reedsburg Democrat Art Shrader in his race against Republican Assemblyman Edward Brooks, also from Reedsburg
