On Tuesday, during an interview with WTMJ political reporter Charles Benson, President Trump announced his support for Senator Tammy Baldwin’s Buy America legislation, which would require American-made products to be used in certain water infrastructure projects.

“Senator Baldwin is a champion for Buy America, which would be a huge boon for America’s economy,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Brandon Weathersby. “She has reached across the aisle and gained the support of Republicans, including the leader of the Republican Party, President Donald Trump. Hopefully, Speaker Paul Ryan will join his President and won’t oppose this job-creating policy again.”
