OOF: Another Poll Shows Leah Vukmir Way Down
Following Baldwin +10 Marquette University Law School poll, NBC/Marist poll shows Baldwin +14
MADISON — Following yesterday’s Marquette University Law School poll that showed Tammy Baldwin leading Republican U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir 53% to 43% (Baldwin +10), a new NBC/Marist Poll today has Baldwin leading Vukmir 54% to 40% (Baldwin +14).
What does this mean? Expect Vukmir to ratchet up the rhetoric and desperately attempt to avoid talking about her record of working for insurance companies and selling out cancer patients, hearing-impaired kids, seniors, and people with mental illness.
What’s clear is this: Health care is on the ballot this November, and Vukmir will have to answer for campaigning on repealing the Affordable Care Act and gutting its protections for Wisconsinites with pre-existing conditions — protections that 93% of Wisconsinites view as important, according to Marquette University polling.
