From Chaos, Rush Limbaugh Emerges as GOP’s New Leader
“The Rush Limbaugh’s of the world who want us to fail are woefully out-of-touch with the needs of everyday Americans,” said Joe Wineke, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. “Even though Rush is now leading the National Party, I challenge Wisconsin Republicans to take a stand and denounce his twisted views.”
Limbaugh rose to become the GOP’s leader this week after he smacked down Michael Steele, Chair of the Republican National Committee. Steele, who had earlier told CNN that Rush is not the real leader, was forced to issue an embarrassing apology this week, saying, “There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership.”
