Walker’s Flip-Flop Fundraising Letter
Misleads Own Donors on Stimulus
MADISON – Scott Walker was caught flip-flopping on the federal stimulus again this week after he sent a fundraising letter misleading his own supporters about his position on accepting federal funds for MilwaukeeCounty.
In the fundraising letter, Walker writes: “My decision not to accept federal stimulus money was not popular with liberals, but it was the right thing to do. … I was supposed to be giddy about feeding from the federal trough. But I refused … Will you help, by sending a generous contribution?”

In his letter, Walker conveniently forgets to mention that he released his very own $130 million stimulus wish list and recently told reporters: “We’re going to go after stimulus money.”
“Watching Walker is making me dizzy,” said Joe Wineke, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. “Walker says one thing to the media, another to his donors – one thing in Milwaukee and another out state.”
To help keep up with Walker’s major flip-flops, the DPW has compiled a “Walker Flip-Flop Timeline.” Today the DPW added Walker’s latest flip-flop to the timeline: http://www.wisdems.org/free_details.asp?id=56
