The ‘Party of No’ Proudly Presents:
The Candidates of No New Ideas

MADISON – The Democratic Party of Wisconsin (DPW) today released a new Web ad: “No New Ideas”, to introduce Republican gubernatorial wannabes Scott Walker and Mark Neumann to the citizens of Wisconsin.

The DPW also launched a fundraising campaign to raise money and spread the word about the ‘no ideas’ approach Walker and Neumann are championing.

“It appears that the ‘Party of No’ has found two perfect candidates in Scott Walker and Mark Neumann,” said Joe Wineke, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. “Walker and Neumann are offering no new ideas and no real solutions for Wisconsin – just negative political attacks.”

Earlier this month, Walker kicked off his gubernatorial campaign with a ‘no ideas’ tour across the state. Walker somehow managed to spend an entire week attacking the Governor, while offering no new ideas and no real solutions of his own. “There’s nothing wrong with the message,” said Walker.

Not to be outdone, Neumann made the rounds at the Republican convention, reintroducing his ‘no ideas’ approach to the Party faithful. Neumann is currently laying a foundation for a ‘no ideas’ campaign of his own, and he agrees with Walker that the Republicans don’t need a new message.

“Walker and Neumann are truly unique creatures – messengers without a message,” said Wineke. “I look forward to hearing more about their lack of ideas in the future.”
