Chair Tate statement on the passing of Rep. Jay Johnson

MADISON – Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate released the following statement regarding the passing of former U.S. Representative Jay Johnson:

“Representative Jay Johnson was a strong voice for the citizens of Wisconsin well before running for public office. Those who were lucky enough to know Jay or watch his broadcasts witnessed his tenacity for advancing Wisconsin and our nation forward. He was a caring man who gave generously to his country and serves as an inspiration to future generations.”
