DPW Chair Tate Welcomes
Communications Director Graeme Zielinski
MADISON – Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chairman Mike Tate on Wednesday announced the
appointment of veteran reporter and Milwaukee native Graeme Zielinski as the
party’s new communications director.
“We welcome Graeme on board as part of an accomplished team as we enter an election season that will have great consequences for the working families of Wisconsin,” Tate said.
Zielinski, who has earned distinction at publications such as The Washington Post and the Chicago Tribune, is a 1996 honors graduate of UW-Madison. Locally, he also has worked at the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, The Capital Times and at The Onion satirical newspaper.
“I was raised in a proud Democratic family and I am similarly proud to hold this position,” Zielinski said.
