WisDems Chair Mike Tate on Walker’s Hypocritical Harley Statement

MADISON- Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate released the following statement today on Scott Walker’s hypocritical Harley Statement:

“Scott Walker has two approaches to job creation: One is to take credit for someone else’s work, like the GE jobs at the county research park which he actually opposed; The second is to attack the successes of others because they don’t benefit his fat cat political donors, like his campaign’s corporate financier who mocks the 125 new manufacturing jobs Talgo is bringing to Wisconsin.

“Walker has been actively hostile to jobs creation programs. Even now, though the position was created for him last November, Walker has yet to hire an economic development director. Walker’s negligence when it comes to jobs speak loudly to his hostility to working families-no matter how many brown bag lunches his $400,000 consultant tells him to pretend to pack.”
