Reality Tee-Vee Star Endorses Massive Layoffs of Teachers, Cops, Firefighters
MADISON — After Congress passed legislation to end tax breaks for corporations that ship Wisconsin jobs overseas, 7th Congressional District candidate and reality tee-vee star Sean Duffy fumed in a fundraising appeal on behalf of corporate outsourcers.
Duffy stated his opposition to Congress ending its summer recess and returning to work to end those loopholes as a way to forestall massive layoffs of cops, firefighters and teachers.
“Sean Duffy is trying to raise campaign cash on the backs of Wisconsin workers and small businesses. He’s complaining that Washington cut short its vacation to end tax breaks for corporations that ship Wisconsin jobs to China,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Wednesday. “Could Duffy make it any more clear that he stands with special interests and not Wisconsin?”
