MADISON-News is breaking that Scott Walker’s gubernatorial ambitions have lead to stonewalling into the investigation of his mental health complex, where female patients were raped as a result of policy.
In the story in today’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, County auditor Jerry Heer said that, for the first time in 30 years, the county executive’s office has stonewalled an auditor’s probe, refusing to turn over a consultant’s safety report from 2008, two years after a patient starved to death at the hospital, but before reports surfaced this spring about the sexual assaults at the facility.
Scott Walker had previously been warned about the problems that necessitated a secure ward. But he did nothing.
