Scott Walker’s Reckless Mismanagement Gets “Negative” Grade
MADISON- Having falsely campaigned on a record of fiscal responsibility, the consequences of incoming governor Scott Walker’s disastrous term as Milwaukee County executive were brought into clearer focus with an embarrassing downgrade to the county’s bond rating.

Fitch Ratings cited deficits and outstanding pension obligations in changing the county’s outlook from “stable” to “negative.”
“In the shameful news of Milwaukee County’s downgraded bond rating, we have seen the Ghost of Christmas Future and what Scott Walker has in store for the rest of Wisconsin,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Monday. “His reckless mismanagement has taken Milwaukee County to the brink of bankruptcy. We must not let him and his Republican storm front do the same to Wisconsin.”
