Scott Walker’s First Priority Creates Zero Jobs
MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate on Scott Walker’s very first order of business, which is to limit the legal liability for nursing homes where seniors are abused and for drunk drivers who injure or kill other innocent drivers.
“Today, the Legislature was set to hear how Scott Walker’s first order of business is not jobs, but legislation that would protect nursing homes where seniors are abused, and those drunk drivers that injure or kill innocent Wisconsinites. This has nothing to do with jobs, and everything to do with rewarding those corporations and special interests who want no accountability for their bad actions.”
