Helping to Keep Generic Drugs Available
MADISON-Continuing his determined fight for Wisconsin’s endangered middle class, Sen. Herb Kohl has introduced legislation seeking to ensure access to cheaper generic drugs.
The bipartisan legislation, which Kohl introduced last week, seeks to limit efforts by big pharmaceutical companies to manufacture deals to keep generic drugs out of the market.
“Wisconsin should be grateful that it has Herb Kohl working to keep money in our pocket,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Friday.
