MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate following the news of the death of veteran Rep. Steven Hilgenberg.
“The condolences of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin go out to the family of Steve Hilgenberg. As well as a strong advocate for small business owners and veterans, he was a powerful voice for rural Wisconsin who honored our best traditions of fairness for all. Rep. Hilgenberg fought as hard to keep streams and creeks clean as keeping our politics free from the pollution of corporate interest.”
