MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate on the public career of retiring Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.
“With a rare combination of courage, vision and compassion, Kathleen Falk blazed paths, inspired citizens and protected and advanced the great values of Wisconsin. We will doubtless hear more from her in the future, but for now, it is worth honoring a career in which she showed that a strong fiscal steward can also preserve services for the most vulnerable, public safety for the common good and institutions that benefit all the public, not just a monied few. Her leadership and her willingness to do what is right is in stark contrast to the other executive we have in Madison right now. Wisconsin is truly a stronger and better place because of her.”
