MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate following breaking news that the Republican Party of Wisconsin has hired violent, out-of-state felons to engage in recall efforts to support Scott Walker’s anti-family agenda.
“In their zeal to support Scott Walker’s anti-family agenda, the state Republicans have made prey of Brown County residents who were victims of dangerous out-of-state felons who committed crimes right here in Wisconsin, at Lambeau Field no less. We still know little about the finances of these shady groups operating to recall the brave Wisconsin senators who stood up to Scott Walker. We do know now, however, that drugging a victim in Colorado did little to stop the Republicans from bringing this individual to Wisconsin to support the Scott Walker agenda.”
