MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate regarding Mother’s Day 2011.
“The mothers of Wisconsin made us strong, kept us fed and made us the women and men we are today. To honor our mothers, we should see that they are paid for their labor, that their retirements are secure, that they have the affordable medical care that they need and that the institutions they helped to build in Wisconsin are preserved. Happy Mother’s Day.”
