MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate following the landmark legislation proposed by a key Scott Walker ally in the midst of Wisconsin’s economic crisis.
“Earlier this year, Scott Walker carved out time to talk to whom he thought was a billionaire oil tycoon about dropping “the bomb” on the heads of Wisconsin’s working families. Now, one of his key allies is using the Senate’s time to worry over cream puffs even while the Walker administration is revising Wisconsin’s jobs numbers downward. With Scott Walker, it looks like brown bag mistruths about focusing on jobs have given way to cream puff priorities.”
