MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate following Russ Feingold’s announcement about his decision to not run for elective office in 2012.
“Russ Feingold’s legacy of fighting for the middle class is a much-needed antidote to the extreme and jobs-killing policies of Scott Walker and Paul Ryan. We will continue to look to Sen. Feingold’s independent leadership and example, which will long endure in an era where Republicans are playing fatal games with the economy and Wisconsin suffers Scott Walker’s divisive agenda.”
