MADISON-After months of bad-mouthing neighboring states and having already sent thousands of infrastructure jobs to Illinois, news is breaking that one-in-five jobs on a website touted by Scott Walker actually exist in other states.
Walker and his lapdog Legislature have not passed a single meaningful jobs bill even as the unemployment rate in Wisconsin has increased from 7.4 percent to 7.9 percent during his term.
“While Scott Walker was busy working on behalf of corporations and millionaires, Wisconsin continued to lose jobs. Now, after a legislative session more focused on oddball social legislation and limiting the liability for drunk drivers who kill, we see a mad scramble from an administration that has done everything it can to muddy the waters on its abject jobs failures,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Wednesday. “But finally, we see the outlines of a Scott Walker jobs plan: Create them in Illinois.”
