MADISON-After unemployment has spiked under his watch, Scott Walker has found a new target to blame for his failure: the unemployed themselves.
Wisconsin Public Radio reports that Scott Walker is going to investigate the unemployed to determine if they’re trying hard enough to find work.
“Even with his promotion of seasonal and low-wage jobs, unemployment has spiked under Scott Walker, rising from 7.4 percent to 7.9 percent. Along with a Republican Legislature that forces people laid off from their jobs to wait a week for the benefits they need to feed their families, Scott Walker is joining in the demonizing of job seekers put out of work for the very policies of reckless greed they celebrate,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Thursday.
