MILWAUKEE-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate after a hearing examiner ruled in favor of a Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputy against David Clarke’s abuse.
“A third-party has found what the residents of Milwaukee County have long known, that David Clarke is a profane and arrogant bully. That much has been seen in his recent antics, refusing to bring fiscal reforms to his agency after long being coddled by his Tea Party ally Scott Walker.
The public deserves a sheriff, not a showboat who embarrasses the community and who puts his own political career before public safety. Milwaukee County has had enough of David Clarke and his selfish ways.”
