MADISON – Eighth Congressional District candidate Jamie Wall today announced that his campaign raised more than $240,000 in the fourth fundraising quarter of 2011.
More than 720 individuals supported Wall’s campaign, with more than half of the supporters contributing $100 or less.
Wall entered the race on October 5th and quickly assembled a strong campaign fueled by grassroots support.
“Jamie Wall’s fundraising numbers are further proof that the people of Northeast Wisconsin recognize that Reid Ribble is dangerously out-of-touch with the challenges his constituents are facing,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Wednesday. “This tremendous outpouring of grassroots support shows that the people are ready for a representative who will fight for seniors, students, farmers and working families, not wealthy special interests.”
Jamie Wall, a small businessman, was recently named one of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s “Red to Blue” candidates, designating him as one of the most competitive challengers in the country.
