Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate in response to new attack ads by historic job loser Scott Walker against former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
“Scott Walker came into office without a jobs plan and under his divisive and incompetent management, Wisconsin led the nation in job loss in 2011, the first time we have ever enjoyed that dubious distinction.
Walker’s historic job loss is one of the many reasons he faces recall. And it is why he’s trying to distort and attack the records of honest leaders who actually have track records of job creation, which contrast brightly with Walker’s historic failure on jobs.”
