Scott Walker's Silence About Planned Parenthood Bombing

Apr 02, 2012

More than 36 hours after the bombing of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Wisconsin, Scott Walker still has made no public condemnation of the apparent act of domestic terrorism.

Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating.

The clinic in Grand Chute, which offers preventive health care to women of the Fox Valley, was the target of funding cuts by the Walker administration.

“Scott Walker has found time to fly to New York and Texas to open his palms for corporate cash. He finds time to distort his record of job loss and bad budgeting. He has never shied away from a Fox News microphone. But when an attack occurs against a women’s health clinic right here in Wisconsin, he has gone strangely, deafeningly silent,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Tuesday. “Violence against a clinic that helps women is not a Democratic issue. It is not a Republican issue. It is a Wisconsin issue, and one where the governor of the state should offer leadership, not silence.”
