WisDems Elect New Member to Democratic National Committee

Jun 14, 2012

During their statewide annual convention last weekend, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin elected a new member to the state’s contingent for the Democratic National Committee as well as re-elected previous members.

The new addition to the DNC for Wisconsin is Christine Bremer Muggli, an attorney and shareholder with Bremer & Trollop Law Offices in Wausau. Bremer Muggli serves on the Legislative Task Force and is currently chair of the Justice Fund of the Wisconsin Association for Justice. She was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 2008 and served as a member of the Electoral College in 2009. Bremer was also elected in 2011 to serve on the Board of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Bremer Muggli replaces longtime Democratic activist and organizer Paula Zellner, who is currently the campaign manager for Jamie Wall’s 8th Congressional District campaign. Zellner’s expertise and insight over the past three 4-year terms she served as a DNC member will be missed. The State Party is very grateful for her many years of service.

Three previous DNC members were also re-elected, including Jason Rae, an associate at Nation Consulting and the youngest DNC member ever elected, Martha Love, a veteran political organizer in the Milwaukee area, and Rollie Hicks, a former educator and rural political activist.
