According to Politico, Wisconsin delegates at this year’s Democratic National Convention have “described the Republican vice presidential candidate as an extremist and friend of the wealthy. … And they’re demanding Ryan be held accountable for some of his most controversial assertions — from his claim that President Barack Obama “raided” Medicare to pay for the federal health care law to his criticism of Obama for the closing of the General Motors plant in his Janesville hometown.”
