New DNC Video: "Mitt Romney: Those People"

Sep 25, 2012

Mitt Romney is out with a new ad today that has him in full damage control mode after video surfaced of him dismissing nearly half of Americans.

The problem for Mitt is that he’s already been on the other side of every point he tries to make in his new ad. Can the candidate who “likes being able to fire people” really empathize with someone who has fallen on hard times and is looking for work? Mitt Romney is the type of guy who casually throws around $10,000 bets in a debate and then expects the American people to believe he knows what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck.

He claims to be concerned about the poor and the middle class and says his policies will make things better for them. Of course, we already know he’s “not concerned about the very poor” and has outright said it’s not his job to worry about those people because he’ll “never convince them to take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

Mitt Romney is trying to hit the reset button six weeks before the election. It’s not going to work. Unfortunately for Mitt Romney, those people will remember.
