“I don’t know what the issue is here.”
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Washburn County Republicans were going forward at 11 a.m. today with a rally for Roger Rivard, an assemblyman who has doubled down on remarks that, “some girls, they rape so easy.”
The “Rally for Ryan, Romney, Rivard, Duffy, Thompson” was set to go on today at 11 a.m. in Spooner, with defiant Republican officials rallying around Rivard.
According to the paper:
“Dan Hubin, the county party chairman, said he saw no reason to make any changes to the event.
“I don’t know what the issue is here,” he said. “I don’t know why people are even making an issue of it.””
