Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate in response to Sen. Chris Larson’s selection as Democratic Leader in the Wisconsin Senate.
“In just a few short years, Chris Larson has distinguished himself as a strong leader for Democrats in the Senate and throughout Wisconsin. He has worked tirelessly for his colleagues and for Democratic candidates, and he has stood up, when called, to the excesses of the other side. There is no doubt that under his servant leadership, our Senate caucus will fight for progressive values in a way that seeks solutions not sound bites, and which seeks to represent ALL Wisconsinites, not just the monied few. Congratulations to Leader Larson.”
