As Scott Walker continues to fail at his promise to create 250,000 jobs in his first term, another independent report has condemned his scandal-plagued jobs agency.
The review by the Wisconsin Bankers Association follows an audit that showed that the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation lost $19 million in loans, after having lost track of $56 million in loans.
At a board meeting Tuesday, even Scott Walker himself acknowledged the WEDC troubles, which range from bid-rigging allegations to high staff turnover.
“Scott Walker has broken his promise to the people of Wisconsin to create 250,000 jobs through a combination of incompetence, extremism and corruption. The latest report on his scandal-plagued WEDC is a perfect example of his three most prominent traits,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Wednesday.
