Having abandoned his signature promise to create 250,000 private-sector jobs in his first term, Scott Walker Republicans have used the opening weeks of their session during which time Wisconsin was ranked 42nd in job growth, to pursue a path sure to ensure more jobs failure.
Walker earlier had promised that every single piece of legislation would be evaluated by the single premise-whether it would create jobs.
“There’s no wonder Scott Walker has failed at making a dent in his promise to create 250,000 private-sector jobs when his party is off on partisan crusades instead of defending the economic security of Wisconsin’s middle class,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said about the Republican failure.
