With Wisconsin having dropped from 11th in job creation to 44th nationally, last in the Midwest, Scott Walker abandoned his job as governor this weekend to go to Nevada for his presidential campaign.

When he’s not passing policies that kill jobs, Walker frequently is traveling out-of-state and plans on camping out in Iowa this spring and summer as he plans a run for president.
Presumably, Rebecca Kleefisch, who recently lauded a budget-busting tax giveaway for its ability to allow Wisconsin’s working families to buy a few pizzas, is in charge during Walker’s absence.
Said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate Monday:
“One of the reasons Wisconsin is failing at job creation is Scott Walker’s inattention to Wisconsin. When he’s glad-handing with high-dollar donors in Nevada, he surely is not thinking about the economic security of families right here in Wisconsin.
“If Scott Walker thought his travels were proper, why doesn’t he tell the public where he goes and when?
“Wisconsin is in bad economic shape. But it looks like Walker will continue to ignore our problems to tend to his own political fortunes in places like Iowa and Nevada.”
