Political opportunist Scott Walker is taking advantage of the Tea Party government shutdown to attack his potential rivals for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, including, it seems, fellow Wisconsinite Paul Ryan.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that Scott Walker is blaming both Republicans and Democrats for the shutdown and says the federal government should be run more like Wisconsin.
Although the Republican shutdown is deeply rooted in Paul Ryan’s failed budget, Ryan has attempted to stay behind the scenes, essentially ceding control of the House to Tea Party Senator Ted Cruz. But Ryan’s apparent inability to lead his caucus hasn’t gone unnoticed, and Scott Walker has seized the opportunity to brand himself as a leader while trashing even his fellow Republicans.
