Senator Johnson just can’t find enough nice things to say about his pal Donald Trump. With little more than two weeks till election day, Senator Johnson remains committed to voting for the reality star turned presidential candidate. At this point Johnson has sided with Trump after he insulted veterans and their families, disabled Americans, African Americans, Muslims, Hispanics and bragged about sexually assaulting women.
So there was no surprise when at Tuesday night’s debate Johnson continued to cozy up to Trump even as other Republicans have finally said enough is enough. Asked about his support for Trump, Johnson heaped praised on the Republican nominee. And in the sincerest form of self-flattery, Johnson even compared himself to the Donald – finally, something Sen. Johnson is right about. But he didn’t stop there. Johnson went on to agree with Trump that the media has rigged the election against him. Sad!
