Senator Johnson continues to duck and dodge questions about Donald Trump. At a campaign stop in Janesville yesterday Johnson was asked repeatedly to comment on Trump’s tax returns and on whether he’d campaign with Trump on Saturday in Waukesha. His response? More of the same rhetorical rigmarole.
Asked about the revelation that Trump may have paid no federal income taxes over the past 18 years, Johnson said he couldn’t comment on someone else’s tax returns and quickly tried to change the subject. When asked whether he plans to campaign with Trump, Johnson refused to answer. Take a look at WISC’s story from last night:
