Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Martha Laning released the following statement with the announcement of Sen. Time Kaine being picked as Hillary Clinton’s Vice Presidential nominee:
“In picking Senator Tim Kaine as her Vice Presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton has continued her commitment to building a better future for all Americans. The people of Virginia have been well served by such a dedicated servant and statesman, and now all of the United States will be lucky to have the former governor and current senator serving in the White House as our next Vice President.
“Tim Kaine has a decorated public service record and has always put the American people first, not special interests and big dollar donors. There is too much at stake this election for us not to do everything we can to elect Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine to the White House, where they will continue to build upon the last eight years of progress we have had under President Obama and Vice President Biden.”
