Vukmir and Nicholson Support Increasing Health Care Costs, Cutting Coverage
MADISON — Leah Vukmir and Kevin Nicholson just recommitted to Washington Republicans’ health care market sabotage that’s spiking premiums across the country — because they’re both running to work for powerful special interests in Washington, not Wisconsin families.
Vukmir and Nicholson are bought-and-paid-for by the corporate special interests and big donors bankrolling their campaigns — and their health care record proves it:
-
Vukmir and Nicholson support Republican efforts to declare protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions are unconstitutional, which would let powerful insurance companies discriminate against people — and has the potential to jeopardize 133 million Americans’ health care access.
-
Vukmir and Nicholson support replacing the Affordable Care Act with a Republican health care plan that would kick 30 million Americans off their coverage, lead to higher costs, gut protections for Wisconsinites with pre-existing conditions, and allow companies to charge older workers more.
-
Vukmir and Nicholson support Washington Republicans’ ongoing health care market sabotage that’s increasing health care premium costs across the country — all while opposing bipartisan fixes to stabilize insurance markets.
