WisGOP Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley’s Hate Speech Revealed
Wisconsin’s political landscape was rocked yesterday by a Monday morning bombshell revealing hateful speech used by Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley in articles she wrote as a columnist for the Marquette Tribune. In her writings, Bradley mocks the LGBT community and those suffering from AIDS, describing them as “queers”, “degenerates” and “murderers”.

Here’s a taste of how the news went over in Wisconsin:

“Rebecca Bradley’s hateful writings are vile, demeaning, and unacceptable coming from anyone – let alone a Justice on our state’s highest court,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Executive Director Kory Kozloski said on Tuesday. “Judges should be fair, impartial, and unbiased. Rebecca Bradley’s comments make it clear that Wisconsinites cannot expect to be treated fairly in her courtroom.”

Even Bradley’s half-hearted apology fell short. In her response, Justice Bradley claimed that her comments “have nothing to do with the issues facing the voters of this state.”

“The people of Wisconsin expect Supreme Court Justices who interpret the law fairly, and it’s clear they will never get that from Rebecca Bradley,” continued Kozloski. “Her hateful and prejudiced views have undermined the credibility of our state’s highest court, and she should step down immediately.”
