POLL: Majority Of Wisconsin Voters Disapprove Of GOP Trumpcare Repeal Bills
"Health care is ranked as a top issue for 72% of [Wisconsin] voters"
MADISON -- A new poll released today by Public Policy Polling highlights Wisconsinites' strong opposition to Republican efforts to undermine the American health care system -- an unpleasant wake-up call for Wisconsin Republicans like U.S. Senate candidates Leah Vukmir and Kevin Nicholson, who continue to champion Republican Trumpcare bills.
According to PPP's latest polling:
"While Wisconsin Democrats are working to ensure every Wisconsinite has access to quality, affordable health care, Wisconsin Republicans like Leah Vukmir and Kevin Nicholson continue to back right-wing corporate special interests' wildly-unpopular, destructive efforts to gut protections for people with preexisting conditions and strip health care away from up to 30 million Americans," said Brad Bainum, DPW spokesperson for the 2018 Senate race.

According to PPP's latest polling:
- 55% of Wisconsin voters -- by a 20-point margin -- disapprove of Republican Trumpcare efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
- 72% of Wisconsin voters ranked health care as a top issue.
