ICYMI: WisDems Chair Ben Wikler and Green County Democratic Party Chair Sandy Rindy Tout Democratic Momentum in Wisconsin on MSNBC

MADISON, Wis. — Last night, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler and Green County Democratic Party Chair Sandy Rindy joined The Last Word on MSNBC to discuss how Democrats in Wisconsin are defying the odds and gaining momentum heading into this November’s election.

With a year-round organizing infrastructure and early investments from the Biden-Harris Campaign in Wisconsin, Wisconsin Democrats are already reaching voters from Green County to Bayfield, and building enthusiasm to reelect President Biden and Vice President Harris, Senator Baldwin, and Democrats across the state this year.

“It is the result of a huge amount of work by thousands of people in the most rural parts of our state, in suburbs and small towns and big towns and cities,” says Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler. “Our motto is we work statewide and year round. We don’t take anyone for granted and we don’t write anyone off. That’s what it takes to win in a state like Wisconsin […] It’s a very exciting moment and if we win in Wisconsin, we win the White House.”

“I think the issues they care about are the real kitchen table issues that a lot of us have been talking about,” says Green County Democratic Party Chair Sandy Rindy. “We talk to them about […] the jobs that have been created, monies that have come into Green County for various things such as our YMCA in our county seat in the city of Monroe. We’ve received funding for the basic issues like that.”
