2026 State & CD Delegate Quotas
Click here for a list of FAQs regarding this year’s State Convention.
As a whole, the WisDems platform & resolutions outline the principles that guide our work as a State Party, as well as the policies we believe in, and the beliefs we hold. The WisDems Constitution, on the other hand, is the governing document for the State Party, dictating the policies & procedures we must follow as an organization.
Prior to their circulation, a draft resolution must be passed by county party membership, and no more than 10 passed resolutions may be sent by the county to the Congressional District chair, no less than ten days before the Congressional District Convention. CD Convention delegates will then consider the drafts, and may forward no more than 10 resolutions to the WisDems Platform & Resolutions Committee via state headquarters. If passed & forwarded by the CD, the P&R Committee will review the submitted resolutions & send them to the State Convention floor for delegates to accept or reject.
The platform is only considered every other year, during the even numbered years.
For more information, please consult the WisDems Constitution & Bylaws by clicking here
Convention Rules will be posted upon approval by the respective committees.
If you or someone you know is interested in tabling during the Unity Fair, hosting a hospitality suite, placing an advertisement in the State Convention program, or otherwise serving as an exhibitor at the State Convention, please email at stateconvention@wisdems.org.
The official exhibitor guide is linked here!
Information about each of the Congressional District Conventions can be found on DPW’s CD Conventions webpage, linked below.

State Convention delegates are not required to attend their CD Conventions as delegates, but per Article IV, Section 2 of the DPW Bylaws, delegate status preference is given to attendees of CD Conventions.
Official business at this year’s CD Conventions will include the consideration of resolutions and to elect a P&R committee member & alternate, as well as anything else the CD would like to pursue.
Please contact your local county party Chairperson for more information on being a delegate to a Congressional District Convention. County and CD Chair information is linked below.
