WisDems Statement on GOP Gubernatorial Town Hall
MADISON, Wis. – The radical politics of the Wisconsin Republican gubernatorial primary were in full force at tonight’s town hall.
Democratic Party of Wisconsin Executive Director Devin Remiker released the following statement:
“Regardless of which candidate emerges as the nominee, tonight’s town hall made it clear that every Republican running for governor is radical and wrong for Wisconsin. These candidates plan to rip our state apart with their divisive agenda to undermine access to health care, defund our public schools, roll back voting rights, and make our communities less safe. As Rebecca Kleefisch, Tim Michels, and Tim Ramthun continue to embrace the most extreme positions to win their primary, Wisconsinites will be left with a clear choice in November to re-elect Gov. Evers, who is doing the right thing for our state.”
